An annual series of summer concerts is held at St Peter & St Paul's Church in Harrington and nearby Thorpe Underwood House.

Saturday 8 June, 7pm
Organ Recital: Daniel Moult – Birmingham Conservatoire
Thorpe Underwood House

Daniel is head of organ studies at Birmingham Conservatoire; when not teaching he is an international soloist. We are very pleased he has been able to include Harrington concerts in his busy schedule! His recital will show off the varied colours of the fine Walker organ with music by Bach, Handel, Stanley, Schumann and Stanford, as well as Changing Moods by Steel and Fletcher's Festival Toccata. A TV screen in each room enables you to watch the intricacies of his organ playing.Homemade Pimm's & Canapés in the Garden. Tickets £18

Sunday 21 July, 3pm
Eblana String Trio
Harrington Church

It is ten years since Jonathan, Lucy and Peggy first performed for us at Harrington in July 2014, so we are especially pleased to welcome them back again. They return with another uplifting selection of music for string trio, for which the church acoustic is perfectly suited. Tea & Cakes. Tickets £18 (Under 18, £9)

Richard's Tailgate Ramblers
Harrington Church

Richard Leach (trombone) has taken over from Tony managing the band, hence the change of name, but the familiar players in this excellent group have not changed. With their star local keyboard virtuoso they will entertain us in style with a varied selection of trad jazz on a summer evening. Glass of Wine. Tickets £16

William Harris - Cello
Harrington Church

William is pursuing post-graduate performance studies at the Eastman School in Rochester, USA. We are delighted to welcome him back for a recital during his busy summer schedule in Europe. Glass of wine. Tickets £15 (£12 for season ticket holders and £7 for under 18)

The Ammenti Ensemble
Harrington Church

Four string players from the Rutland Sinfonia orchestra are joined by an oboist to present music from baroque Vienna together with pastoral 20th-century english pieces. You will hear the oboe in some pieces and the cor anglais in others. The programme will include Mozart's Oboe Quartet in F, Schubert's Quartettsatz, and Vaughan Williams' Six Studies on English Folksong. Glass of Wine. Tickets £17 (Under 18, £9)

Sunday 8 December, 3:30pm
The Swarbrick Singers
Harrington Church

Ian Clarke directs his choir in a wide-ranging programme of familiar and less well-known choral music for Advent and Christmas, interspersed with organ chorales. Start the Christmas season in the atmospheric surroundings of Harrington church with candles at sunset: warm clothes recommended. Everyone is invited to join in singing the carols and the now traditional quiz. Mulled Wine & Mince Pies. Tickets £18

Season ticket for all 5 concerts £79. Ticket prices include interval refreshments as indicated.
